Kenilworth And District Agricultural Society – founded 1944.

Promoting agriculture in the district.

The first Annual Show was held in Kenilworth on 7th August 1944 in the grounds of Thickthorn and subsequently for many years in the Abbey Fields. For the next 20 years the Society held its show at the National Agricultural Centre, as part of the Royal Agricultural Society’s Town and Country Festival. Since leaving the Royal Showground the Show was held in conjunction with the Warwickshire College Open Day at Moreton Morrell and in more recent years at a farm in Kenilworth on the first Sunday in June.

2010 brought with it a change of date to the first Saturday in June and a move back to the National Agricultural Centre.
